Assistant Outlet Manager – Noor Lounge (French Speaking)

About the role

Join the Noor Lounge team at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai as an Assistant Outlet Manager. You will support the Outlet Manager in daily operations, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and financial performance while stepping in as the acting manager when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Outlet Manager with operational, administrative and financial tasks.
• Oversee daily outlet operations, manage shifts and ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance standards in collaboration with engineering and housekeeping.
• Monitor reservations, seating capacity and POS setups for accuracy.
• Analyse monthly P&L, assist with budgeting and cost control.
• Plan and execute special promotions and festive events.
• Lead and coach the outlet team, handling scheduling, training and disciplinary actions.

Required profile

• High school qualification; degree or HND in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an assistant restaurant manager in a luxury hotel or high‑end independent restaurant.
• International experience in at least two regions (Asia, Europe, North America, preferably Middle East).
• Restaurant pre‑opening experience is mandatory.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal skills; French language skills preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant point‑of‑sale (POS) and cashiering procedures.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Competent computer skills, including MS Office.
