Assistant Professor – Management Strategy & Entrepreneurship (Multiple Tracks)

About the role

The Department of Management, Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the American University of Sharjah seeks full‑time Assistant Professors across three distinct tracks. Candidates will join a vibrant academic community, teaching undergraduate, MBA and PhD courses while advancing the department’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the assigned track (Organizational Behavior & HRM, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, or Strategy & Corporate Governance).
• Develop and deliver new curricula that reflect current research and industry practice.
• Conduct high‑quality research aimed at publication in top‑tier management journals.
• Participate in departmental service, including student advising, committee work and community outreach.

Required profile

• PhD in Management (or ABD near completion) from an AACSB‑accredited institution.
• Demonstrated research potential with working papers targeting top‑tier journals.
• Ability to teach across the curriculum at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Strong commitment to academic excellence and collaborative service.
