About the role
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the American University of Sharjah is seeking candidates for regular and visiting faculty positions at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, starting in Fall 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
- For regular faculty, establishing an active research program and securing internal and external funding.
Required profile
- PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated teaching experience and a strong teaching portfolio.
- Evidence of research productivity and ability to obtain funding (for regular faculty).
Required skills
- Experience with the American model of higher education is highly desirable.
