Assistant Professor of Management Strategy & Entrepreneurship

About the role

The Department of Management, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship at American University of Sharjah seeks a full‑time Assistant Professor to teach and conduct research across one or more of its focus areas.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality research aimed at publication in top‑tier management journals.
• Teach undergraduate, MBA, and PhD courses in the selected specialization(s).
• Contribute to departmental service and university community activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Management from an AACSB‑accredited institution (ABD near completion considered).
• Strong research potential with working papers targeting top‑tier journals.
• Willingness to teach across the curriculum at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Required skills

• Expertise in at least one of the following areas: Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, or Strategy and Corporate Governance.
• Ability to incorporate emerging topics such as AI, digital transformation, and responsible AI into teaching and research.
