Assistant Project Manager – Graduate Role

About the role

Savills Building & Projects Consultancy is seeking a recent graduate to join its Dubai office as an Assistant Project Manager. You will support experienced project managers across the full project lifecycle, gaining exposure to residential, commercial, hospitality and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with day‑to‑day management of projects through design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Track project programmes, raise potential delays or risks, and prepare minutes and action trackers from meetings.
• Assist with site visits, preparing inspection reports covering progress, quality and H&S observations.
• Coordinate design information between client, consultants, contractors and authorities, and help track approvals.
• Prepare and update budgets, cash‑flow forecasts, cost reports and assist with variation orders and tender analysis.
• Maintain accurate project records, including RFIs, submittals, risk registers and support handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or final‑year student/recent graduate) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Basic understanding of construction processes and the project lifecycle.
• Strong written and verbal English communication, organisational and analytical abilities.
• UAE passport and family book.

Required skills

• MS Office, especially Excel.
• Exposure to MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD or Bluebeam (advantageous).
