Assistant Reservations Manager

About the role

The Assistant Reservations Manager supports the reservations team at W Hotels in Dubai, ensuring accurate room blocks, bookings and group market codes. The role combines guest‑facing service with operational oversight, helping to maximise revenue while maintaining the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes and cancellations received via phone, fax or mail.
• Verify room availability, rates and guarantee policies, and communicate them to guests.
• Handle special requests, document guest preferences and ensure appropriate billing set‑up.
• Maintain the reservation system, input data accurately and troubleshoot booking issues.
• Apply new reservations procedures and follow sales techniques to optimise revenue.
• Assist management with training, scheduling, coaching and performance monitoring of staff.
• Uphold company policies, appearance standards and confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Provide courteous guest service, answer queries about facilities and resolve concerns promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in hotel reservations or a related field.
• At least one year of supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
