Assistant Restaurant General Manager

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant General Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations at The Arts Club Dubai. The role involves assisting with menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards, and providing hands‑on support to the service team during peak periods to ensure a consistent, high‑quality experience for members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant General Manager in overseeing overall restaurant and lounge operations, ensuring efficient service delivery.
• Support compliance with financial, operational and statutory requirements in line with company policies.
• Help plan, develop and update food and beverage menus in coordination with department heads.
• Assist with inventory management, including consumption estimates, forecasting and stock monitoring.
• Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales.
• Support cost‑control measures to maximise financial performance while maintaining service quality.
• Prepare and maintain daily and weekly operational reports.

Required profile

• Minimum of 60 months (5 years) experience in restaurant or hospitality operations.
• Proven ability to support a service team in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
