Assistant Teacher

About the role

The school is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher to support classroom activities and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment for young students in Dubai. You will work closely with the main teacher to deliver lessons and provide individual assistance where needed.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the main teacher in conducting lessons and managing classroom activities.
• Monitor students’ behavior, safety, and participation during class and break times.
• Help students understand lessons, complete assignments, and engage in educational activities.
• Provide extra attention to students who need additional learning assistance.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive, friendly learning environment.
• Prepare worksheets, charts, learning aids, and classroom materials.
• Help monitor students’ academic progress and report concerns to the main teacher.
• Assist young children with basic needs, hygiene, and daily routines when required.
• Maintain professional communication with teachers, parents, and school staff.
• Follow school safety policies and report accidents, bullying, or safeguarding concerns.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good classroom management and creativity.
• Experience with child supervision and basic computer knowledge.
