About the role

The Computing and Mathematical Sciences Division at MBZUAI seeks an Assistant or Associate Professor to lead research and teaching in field robotics, physical AI, and their applications across mining, construction, agriculture, aerial and underwater environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality instruction and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
• Develop and update curriculum in robotics and AI.
• Conduct innovative research on intelligent robotic systems interacting with the physical world.
• Collaborate with industry partners, government agencies, and research institutions.

Required profile

• PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated excellence in innovative, impactful research.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
