Assistant/Associate Professor – Human Anatomy (College of Dentistry)

About the role

The College of Dentistry at Ajman University is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor in Human Anatomy to join the faculty for the Fall 2026‑27 semester. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise student research, and contribute to the college’s research agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Human Anatomy courses and related laboratory sessions.
• Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and support academic advising.
• Develop course outlines, instructional materials, and manage learning management system resources.
• Conduct independent research, publish findings in reputable journals, and present at conferences.
• Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Participate in college committees and community service activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Human Anatomy or a closely related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience at the university level.
• Strong record of scholarly publications in top‑tier journals.
• Experience supervising student research and collaborative interdisciplinary work.
• Demonstrated commitment to community service and academic excellence.

Required skills

• Effective oral and written communication.
• Familiarity with credit‑hour academic systems and learning management platforms.
