Associate Lawyer – Chinese Fluent (Dubai)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Associate Lawyer position is based in Media City, Dubai. The role supports partners in advising corporate, blockchain and commercial clients, with a particular focus on Chinese‑speaking stakeholders and cross‑border matters involving Chinese jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist partners in drafting and reviewing contracts, transaction documents, governance frameworks and compliance policies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, memoranda and regulatory filings.
• Participate in client meetings and liaise with Chinese‑speaking clients.
• Manage case files, coordinate with external authorities and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality work.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a law degree from a recognised institution; admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction is preferred.
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of corporate and commercial law; familiarity with blockchain, Web3 or technology‑related regulations is highly beneficial.
• Fluency in Chinese (spoken and written) and strong proficiency in English.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client‑facing skills.
• High attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑player with professional ethics, discretion and confidentiality.
