Associate STEM Instructor

About the role

VRAcademi AI & Metaverse Lab is looking for an experienced Associate STEM Instructor to deliver engaging, project‑based learning in robotics, coding, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies for learners aged 8–18. You will manage classrooms, develop curriculum and guide students from concept to finished projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured, hands‑on lessons in robotics, coding, AI and related STEM subjects, adapting activities for different ages and abilities.
• Develop and improve lesson plans, presentations, activity sheets and practical projects, ensuring clear learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
• Track attendance, participation and student progress, maintain portfolios and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain a safe, organised lab environment, troubleshoot robotics kits and software, and coordinate resources with academic and operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, robotics, education or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of teaching, training or STEM education experience with school‑age learners.
• Strong classroom management, communication and organisational skills, with excellent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Robotics and physical computing platforms (e.g., LEGO Education, Makeblock, Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
• Coding using Scratch or Python.
• Basic AI and introductory machine‑learning concepts.
• Electronics, sensors and microcontrollers.
