Associate – Tax & Legal (Business Tax) – UAE National

About the role

During your tenure as an Associate in Business Tax, you will develop your capabilities in tax, legal and regulatory matters while supporting Deloitte’s clients in the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Build an understanding of Deloitte’s purpose, values and the impact of tax work.
• Demonstrate personal accountability and keep performance on track.
• Develop effective communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Contribute to the priorities of the Business Tax team and the wider firm.
• Act as a brand ambassador to help attract top talent.

Required profile

• UAE National with a valid family book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, Business or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in tax, accounting, finance or audit (preferred).
• Strong interest in taxation and regulatory matters.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
