Audit Manager – UAE Nationals Only

About the role

HSBC is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead end‑to‑end audits and deliver high‑quality audit outcomes across the Group Internal Audit (GIA) function. The role is open to UAE nationals and requires strong leadership, analytical rigor, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and lead comprehensive audits, ensuring adherence to methodology, standards, timelines and budget.
• Collaborate proactively with GIA teams and business units to set the right audit tone and promote a strong risk and conduct culture.
• Identify emerging risks, regulatory changes and industry trends to shape audit scope and approach.
• Communicate audit issues, exceptions and recommendations clearly to GIA leadership and business stakeholders.
• Develop practical, proportionate solutions and ensure agreed mitigation actions are implemented.

Required profile

• Graduation degree (UAE‑recognised) with required attestations for overseas qualifications.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector, preferably with exposure to credit risk or audit functions.
• Strong knowledge of wholesale and retail credit risk, relevant regulations and product landscape.
• Demonstrated capability in accounting/audit, analytics, finance, project management, risk and technology.
