About the role
The Auditor will support Dubai Customs by conducting post‑clearance audits, ensuring compliance with tariff, valuation, origin and legal requirements. This role involves preparing audit plans, coordinating with expert departments, and drafting comprehensive audit reports.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, organize and analytically review data to prepare the Individual Audit Plan for planned, accreditation or ad‑hoc audits as assigned.
- Request expert resources from relevant departments, obtain approvals, and incorporate expert opinions on tariff, valuation, origin, investigation and legal matters.
- Draft audit reports with supporting evidence and findings, and forward them for legal review.
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of information in line with Dubai Customs information security policies.
Required profile
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Audit, Finance or a related field.
- Current Customs Officer with at least 3‑4 years of auditing experience.
