AutoCAD Draughtsman - Interior Fit-Out & Joinery

About the role

M Qube Interiors Carpentry LLC is a Dubai-based interior fit-out and carpentry/joinery company delivering residential, commercial, retail and corporate projects. It is hiring an AutoCAD Draughtsman to prepare accurate technical drawings that support design coordination, workshop production and site execution across fit-out and custom joinery works.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and revise detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans and joinery details.
• Translate design concepts, site measurements and project specifications into clear construction and shop drawings.
• Develop coordinated drawings for custom carpentry, furniture, partitions, gypsum and ceiling works, flooring and interior finishes.
• Coordinate drawing information with designers, quantity surveyors, foremen, production teams and project managers.
• Incorporate client and consultant comments, maintain drawing revisions and issue accurate documentation on schedule.
• Review drawings for dimensions, material details, interfaces and practical installation requirements before release.
• Support site teams by clarifying drawing details and updating documentation to reflect approved changes.

Required profile

• Strong working proficiency in AutoCAD for precise 2D drafting, editing, layering, dimensioning and plotting.
• Ability to produce coordinated architectural, interior fit-out and joinery shop drawings.
• Knowledge of carpentry and joinery construction, furniture components, materials and workshop fabrication requirements.
• Understanding of fit-out trades such as gypsum ceilings, partitions, flooring and finishes, including trade interfaces.
• Ability to interpret design drawings, specifications, site measurements and consultant or client markups.
• Careful attention to dimensions, drawing standards, revision control, file organisation and deadlines.
• Clear communication and coordination with design, site, production and project delivery teams.
