Azure Platform Engineer for Enterprise Hub VNets

About the role

The Azure Platform Engineer will design, implement and operate enterprise‑scale hub‑spoke networking and data platforms on Azure for the EDM project. You will work closely with architecture, security and DevOps teams to ensure reliable, secure and cost‑optimized cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain hub‑spoke VNet architecture, including VNet peering, route tables, NSGs, Azure Firewall and private DNS zones.
• Implement and manage Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Event Hub, Cosmos DB, ADLS Gen2 and PostgreSQL.
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking components, API Management, Front Door, Application Gateway (WAF) and AKS clusters.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and release management processes.
• Monitor performance, enforce governance, cost‑optimization and disaster‑recovery strategies.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience on Azure, with strong focus on networking and data platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise hub‑spoke landing zones and centralized firewall environments.
• Proven ability to validate routing, troubleshoot connectivity and manage cloud security.
