Bancatakaful Partnerships Manager

About the role

ADIB Group is looking for a Bancatakaful Partnerships Manager based in Abu Dhabi. The role leads and drives Bancatakaful partnerships across ADIB Group entities and external B2B distribution channels, developing strategic partnerships, growing revenue, improving partner performance and expanding distribution while aligning with ADIB's business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop strategic Bancatakaful distribution opportunities with ADIB Group entities and external B2B partners, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Negotiate partnership arrangements, commercial terms, service levels and operational requirements, and act as the main point of contact for assigned partners.
• Integrate and optimise Bancatakaful products across customer segments, channels and digital touchpoints, and oversee channel initiatives, campaigns and projects.
• Develop and execute partnership strategies, identify new opportunities and trends, and contribute to business planning, budgeting and revenue forecasting.
• Monitor partner performance against KPIs and service standards, run regular business reviews, drive corrective actions and present executive performance reports to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory, compliance, governance and operational requirements are met across all partnership activities.
• Lead market research, competitor benchmarking and industry analysis, and provide insights to product, distribution, digital and marketing teams.
• Drive sales enablement, partner engagement programmes and product awareness campaigns, and oversee sales tools, training materials and FAQs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Insurance or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in banking, bancassurance, takaful, insurance, wealth management or financial services.
• Demonstrated experience in partnership management, business development, distribution management and strategic relationship management, with a proven track record of revenue growth through external partnerships.
• Strong understanding of Bancatakaful, insurance and financial services markets, and of UAE banking practices and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to interpret business data and turn it into actionable strategy.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
