About the role
The Bar & Lounge Manager will oversee daily operations of the bar and lounge at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Dubai. This role ensures high standards of service, manages inventory and budgets, and drives guest satisfaction while leading a team of staff.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise day‑to‑day bar and lounge activities, including staff scheduling, service delivery and compliance with liquor laws.
- Control beverage inventory, manage costs, conduct perpetual inventory checks and analyze sales performance.
- Develop and implement menus, promotions and pricing strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Train and coach team members on service standards, liquor control policies and guest interaction.
- Monitor budgets, payroll and controllable expenses to achieve or exceed financial goals.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, or a 2‑year degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to manage bar/lounge operations, enforce liquor regulations and maintain high guest satisfaction.
