Barista – Luxury Resort Beverage Service

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Barista to join the InterContinental Fujairah Resort team, delivering high-quality alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests in a five-star environment. The role combines coffee expertise with cocktail preparation, ensuring every drink meets the resort’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide personalized beverage service.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, specialty drinks, cocktails, wines, beers and spirits according to hotel recipes.
• Recommend drinks to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and HACCP standards at the bar area.
• Collaborate with the bar, restaurant and kitchen teams for smooth operations.
• Manage stock rotation, storage and handling of all beverage products.
• Complete opening and closing duties in line with hotel policies.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in a hotel or similar bar/restaurant setting.
• Basic reading and writing skills; fluent in English.
• Legal age to serve alcohol according to local regulations.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings.

Required skills

• HACCP knowledge.
• Understanding of bar and restaurant operations.
