Bartender

About the role

FIVE Hotels and Resorts, a luxury hotel group, is hiring a Bartender for its Food and Beverage team in Dubai. The role delivers exceptional beverage experiences at its award-winning lifestyle destinations, in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present a selection of hand-crafted alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to FIVE-star standards.
• Engage guests professionally, take orders, make tailored recommendations and explain the beverage offerings.
• Process payments, handle cash and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of premium menus, ingredients, flavours and preparation methods, and stay updated on trends.
• Keep the bar area clean, organised and well-stocked with supplies, garnishes and glassware.
• Manage inventory through usage tracking, reordering and regular stock checks.
• Follow health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Collaborate with servers, chefs and management, and take part in training sessions, workshops and team meetings.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a luxury hotel or resort bartending role.
• Bartending certification or related professional training preferred.
• Excellent communication, organisational and multi-tasking skills; proactive and detail-oriented.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
