Bartender

About the role

Park Hyatt Dubai is looking for a Bartender who creates a sophisticated and engaging beverage experience with attentive, personalized service. The role demands excellent beverage knowledge, precision, creativity and strong guest interaction, while keeping the presentation, hygiene and service standards of a premium hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks to recipe and presentation standards.
• Recommend beverages personally and maintain up-to-date knowledge of spirits, wines, cocktails, ingredients and trends.
• Set up the bar before each service with mise-en-place, glassware, garnishes, stock and equipment.
• Ensure consistent quality, portion control and presentation, and monitor guest consumption responsibly.
• Process orders and guest checks accurately through the POS system, including billing, payments and cash handling.
• Keep the bar, counters, equipment, glassware and storage clean and organized, and help with stock control, requisitions and reporting shortages.
• Work closely with service staff, kitchen and other F&B teams, and handle guest feedback professionally.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety, licensing and hotel procedures, and maintain professional grooming.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a hospitality, F&B or bartending diploma is preferred.
• 1-2 years of bartending experience, preferably in a five-star hotel, luxury resort, premium bar or upscale restaurant.
• Good understanding of responsible alcohol service, hygiene and food safety.
• Excellent communication skills, professional appearance and attention to detail.
• Able to work flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays.
