About the role

We are seeking a creative and proactive TikTok Community Manager who lives and breathes basketball. The role focuses on building an authentic TikTok presence that engages fans in real time, turning trends into compelling basketball‑centric content.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily TikTok content calendar, publishing schedule and community interactions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with basketball news, fan culture, memes, sounds and emerging TikTok trends.
• Identify relevant trends and translate them into timely, platform‑native content opportunities.
• Plan and execute content around games, players, key moments and broader basketball conversations.
• Engage with fans through comments and interactions in an authentic TikTok voice.
• Support live gameday and event coverage, reacting quickly to moments as they happen.
• Collaborate with the creative team to turn trends and ideas into engaging videos.
• Monitor audience sentiment, conversations and feedback.
• Review content performance and share insights with the wider team.
• Help develop and maintain a distinctive, consistent TikTok presence for the brand.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for basketball and deep understanding of sports culture.
• Strong knowledge of TikTok, its humor, language, formats and community dynamics.
• Ability to spot trends early and determine the right moments for brand participation.
• Insight into basketball fan behavior before, during and after games.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, reactive content environment.
• Familiarity with TikTok Community Guidelines.
• Proactive, organized and comfortable collaborating with creative and content teams.
