Beach Attendant

About the role

As a Beach Attendant at Kai Beach, you will be the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them, guiding them to their seats and ensuring a memorable dining experience by delivering attentive service and personalized recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to tables and provide a warm, professional service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly using POS systems or manual methods.
• Offer menu recommendations, explain specials and upsell where appropriate.
• Communicate orders clearly to the kitchen and verify correct delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, side stations and dining areas in line with hygiene standards.
• Manage stock and supplies in assigned areas, minimizing waste.
• Check guest identification when serving alcoholic beverages in compliance with local regulations.
• Report maintenance issues, low supplies, safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.
• Follow all health, safety and OHS policies, using protective equipment and safe work practices.
