Behavioural Insights Researcher (Remote, $70/hr)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading AI lab to enhance their language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide‑deck tasks. As a Behavioural Insights Researcher you will apply your expertise in user research to create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated outputs that support product and research teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and synthesize customer or user research studies (interviews, usability tests, surveys).
• Produce moderated usability‑test findings decks, interview synthesis, and thematic coding summaries.
• Create survey instruments, analyze results, and write detailed write‑ups.
• Develop discussion guides, screener criteria, and research repository tags.
• Generate journey‑map documents that translate insights into product recommendations.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to train and evaluate language‑model outputs on professional tasks.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience conducting full‑lifecycle customer or user research.
• Proficiency in thematic coding methods, survey design, and statistical analysis.
• Expert‑level craftsmanship in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong written communication.
