BIM Engineer – Plumbing & Drainage

About the role

The BIM Engineer – Plumbing & Drainage will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed Revit MEP models for a variety of water and drainage systems. You will work closely with site engineers and project teams to ensure the BIM models are accurate, constructible, and aligned with project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit MEP models for water supply, soil & waste, drainage, rainwater, vent and greywater systems.
• Prepare construction/shop drawings, isometric drawings, layouts and builders work drawings.
• Perform clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination using Navisworks Manage.
• Coordinate plumbing and drainage systems with HVAC, electrical, firefighting and structural disciplines.
• Generate BOQ, pipe schedules, fitting schedules and material take‑offs directly from BIM models.
• Update BIM models based on site progress and prepare as‑built documentation for handover.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or a relevant BIM qualification.
• 4–6 years of BIM experience, including at least 3 years on plumbing & drainage MEP contracting projects.
• UAE/GCC project experience preferred; experience in high‑rise, residential, commercial or hospitality projects is an advantage.
