BIM Modeler – Dry Utilities

About the role

Parsons is seeking a talented BIM Modeler (Dry Utilities) to join its Design team in Abu Dhabi. The role supports the BIM Coordinator and Project Delivery Teams with day‑to‑day BIM development, implementation and model management for the main office.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day BIM implementation and model management activities.
• Develop and maintain 3D/2D models in line with project LOD requirements, standards and naming conventions.
• Prepare drawings (layouts, profiles, sections, details) and extract 2D geometry for coordination and internal reviews.
• Extract model data for clash analysis, schedule review and quantity take‑off.
• Perform clash detection, visual walkthroughs and produce constructability reports.
• Coordinate model interfaces with other disciplines and ensure quality checking of BIM deliverables.
• Support BIM submissions and model delivery according to TIDP/MIDP and CDE protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of BIM modelling experience on infrastructure projects.
• Strong proficiency with Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 and Autodesk Forma.
• Demonstrated capability in BIM QA/QC, coordination, clash/clearance detection and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and solid technical documentation skills.
