Board Member – National Council (Global Risks Forum)

About the role

The Global Risks Forum (GRF) is establishing National Councils to shape a new global risk‑management architecture. As a Board Member of the National Council you will provide strategic oversight, champion cross‑sector collaboration and help secure a national mandate for coordinated risk‑informed financing.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the formation and early governance of the National Council’s three chambers (Leadership, Investor, Helix).
• Activate and coordinate the National Desk, fostering partnerships with government, finance, science and civil‑society actors.
• Lead consortium‑building efforts and support the creation of a national ecosystem for risk‑management initiatives.
• Represent the Council in public forums, policy dialogues and international GRF events.
• Ensure alignment of public, private, scientific and financial stakeholders around the Council’s objectives.

Required profile

• Senior executive standing (board, C‑suite, chair, founder, president) in a major national institution.
• Extensive network across government, business, finance, academia and civil society.
• Proven ability to lead policy‑driven campaigns and secure high‑level commitments.
• Strong public‑facing credibility and experience in strategic governance.
