Branch Manager – Insurance Brokerage

About the role

The client, a leading insurance brokerage, is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to head its Abu Dhabi office. The role combines business development, portfolio oversight and team leadership to drive growth in a competitive market.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a client portfolio valued at AED 10 million or more, securing new business opportunities in Abu Dhabi.
• Lead and coach technical and sales teams, aligning their objectives with branch performance targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance partners, brokers and providers, staying current on market trends and regulations.
• Oversee day‑to‑day branch operations, ensuring compliance with UAE insurance regulations and company policies.
• Deliver exceptional client service, acting as the primary contact for major accounts and handling escalations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of experience in the insurance industry, with a proven track record in the Abu Dhabi market.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large client portfolios (AED 10 M+).
• Strong leadership experience, including performance management and team development.
