Budget & Cost Control Analyst – CAPEX

About the role

The Budget and Cost Control Analyst will support the CAPEX team in preparing, consolidating and monitoring the annual and five‑year budgets for revenue, operating, manpower, logistics, marketing, supply and trading functions. The role ensures expenses stay within approved limits and provides accurate financial reporting to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and validate revenue and operating budgets from planning and functional teams, ensuring compliance with formats and policy guidelines.
• Prepare, consolidate and update budget records for both Directorate and Business Line, including CAPEX and logistics expenditures.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial and variance analysis reports, highlighting deviations from approved budgets.
• Prepare accruals, reconcile with the General Ledger and forward data to the Finance & Investment Directorate for cash‑flow preparation.
• Monitor SAP entries and other approved systems to guarantee proper allocation of sales invoices and payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector, focusing on marketing budgets, contracts, accounting and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting processes and financial reporting standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Experience with relevant accounting software.
