About the role
The Finance and Procurement Officer will oversee the school’s financial operations, supporting budgeting, financial planning, cash flow management and procurement activities as directed by the Principal and Bursar.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis, manage accounts payable/receivable, maintain the general ledger and issue invoices through the ERP system.
- Monitor the annual budget, track financial performance against forecasts, and provide guidance to department leads on expenditure.
- Handle payroll reporting, gratuity calculations per UAE labour law, and manage petty cash.
- Develop and implement procurement policies, oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation and purchase approvals.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, support audits and maintain insurance renewals.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting and procurement processes.
- Experience with ERP systems and payroll administration.
- Knowledge of UAE labour law and accounting regulations.
