Bus Monitor (Female) – School Transport

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated female Bus Monitor to supervise student travel on its transport fleet. The role ensures the safety, wellbeing and comfort of pupils during daily bus journeys and supports the overall cleanliness of the campus.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise students on all bus journeys, ensuring safety, wellbeing and comfort.
• Accurately register and account for students during pick‑up and drop‑off, maintaining attendance records.
• Promote high standards of behaviour on the bus and manage conduct in line with school expectations.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and staff, reporting behavioural or safeguarding concerns to the Transport Officer.
• Maintain accurate transport records in the School Management System and support transport administration, including registration of new students and emergency planning.
• Uphold cleanliness standards across the school site, following the cleaning rota, replenishing supplies and ensuring high‑traffic areas remain hygienic.

Required profile

• Female candidates only.
• Ability to follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures, including basic first aid.
