Business Developer - Certification (CER)

About the role

Bureau Veritas is looking for a Business Developer for its Certification department in Abu Dhabi, reporting to the Sales Manager. The role drives new business in Abu Dhabi and other Emirates, manages the full sales cycle and builds long-term client relationships across sectors such as energy, utilities, infrastructure, aerospace and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business development in Abu Dhabi and other Emirates, qualify leads and win new sales
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract award, scheduling and receivables follow-up
• Maintain monthly targets, a healthy pipeline and accurate Salesforce data
• Collaborate with technical teams to structure winning proposals
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, map stakeholders and build long-term relationships
• Build rapport with GRC, QHSE, Cyber and Sustainability departments, manage client expectations and give regular project updates
• Respond to client requests within 24 hours, run workshops and presentations, and represent the company at industry events
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, grow key and strategic accounts and report weekly sales performance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the TIC industry
• Desired: sales and ISO-related training; awareness of ISO standards and management systems
• Strong ownership, time management, stakeholder management and customer focus
