Sales Assistant - Ted Baker, Jebel Ali Outlet Village

About the role

The Sales Assistant plays a key role in driving store sales at Ted Baker's outlet in Jebel Ali, Dubai. The person engages customers, creates a welcoming shopping environment and maintains operational standards, delivering a consistently positive customer experience and supporting store management in reaching sales targets. The role takes part in daily retail operations, keeping the store clean, organised and aligned with visual merchandising guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers immediately with a smile and a sincere, non-business-like welcome, and give them current, relevant product information
• Thank customers sincerely as they leave and invite them back
• Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers promptly and try to add on to the sale
• Serve efficiently at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, keep the cash wrap clean and capture customer information in the database
• Maintain a clean, organised environment and carry out housekeeping duties according to visual presentation standards set by store management

Required profile

• High school degree or equivalent
• 1-2 years of prior retail sales experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting and standing for at least 8 hours
