Business Development Associate

About the role

Kayana is seeking a results‑driven Business Development Associate to join its Dubai team. You will handle inbound enquiries and actively prospect new leads, acting as the first point of contact for potential customers across phone, email, WhatsApp and live chat.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and convert inbound enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp and live chat.
• Generate new leads through cold calling, outreach campaigns, referrals, networking and market research.
• Qualify prospects, understand their requirements and clearly communicate Kayana’s value proposition.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and own the sales process from qualification to closing and hand‑over.
• Prepare quotations/proposals, follow up consistently and negotiate commercial terms within approved guidelines.
• Record all activities, pipeline stages, notes and forecasts accurately in the CRM.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Support and Operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
• Provide market feedback on customer needs, objections and competitor insights.
• Consistently achieve and exceed individual KPIs and sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably B2B.
• Experience in the Food & Beverage or hospitality technology sector is a plus.
• Familiarity with the USA and/or Canada markets is preferred.
• Proven ability to close inbound leads and build pipeline through outbound prospecting.
• Strong communication skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
