Business Development Executive - Podcasts

About the role

PodcastHub is a Dubai media company that produces long-form content for creators, founders, brands and institutions across the GCC, with studios in Dubai Media City, DIFC and on Sheikh Zayed Road. It is hiring two Business Development Executives to handle existing leads and proactively find new clients.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries from creators, founders, personal brands and companies, turning a first message into a meeting
• Proactively reach out to potential clients and start conversations
• Run discovery properly: ask, listen and understand what the client needs to say and who needs to hear it
• Turn the brief into a show idea, series format or hook with the producers and creative team
• Write and present proposals, scope and price them within the company framework, then negotiate, close and hand over to production
• Stay close to clients after the deal: next season, clips, events and follow-up series
• Build partnerships with agencies, PR firms and event organisers
• Represent PodcastHub at events and industry gatherings and follow up quickly
• Own a revenue target

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years in business development, ideally with an agency or a media, content, events or production company
• Record of selling a tailored service to marketing or communications teams, creators or founders
• Excellent spoken and written English; Arabic is a strong plus
• Preferred: a network in the UAE and a UAE driving licence
• Not required: podcast experience, which is learned from the team
