Business Development – Insurance Sales (Executive to Manager)

About the role

Marsh is expanding its sales team in the UAE and seeks experienced business development professionals at executive, senior executive or manager level. This front‑line hunting role focuses on generating new B2B insurance and risk‑solution opportunities across the UAE market.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage and convert a pipeline of new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking and referrals.
• Identify target clients, design tailored go‑to‑market approaches and present commercial proposals to senior stakeholders.
• Represent Marsh at client meetings, industry events and market‑facing activities.
• Develop strong relationships with prospective clients and position Marsh’s broader insurance and risk advisory capabilities.
• Collaborate with local and regional specialists across medical and non‑medical lines.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in CRM systems and exceed sales goals.
• Ensure smooth handover of won business to servicing teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the UAE market.
• Insurance sales or closely related financial services background.
• Proven track record of winning new business through direct outreach and relationship‑led selling.
• Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Resilient, proactive and commercially driven with excellent written and spoken English.
• Preferred: 7+ years of UAE market experience, background in direct insurance sales or broker relationships, and experience across multiple insurance lines.
