Store In Charge – Retail Management at IKEA

About the role

The Shop Manager at IKEA Fujairah leads all aspects of store operations to achieve business goals, maximise sales and ensure long‑term profitability while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the store to meet business objectives, maximise sales, volumes and efficiencies.
• Make local operational and strategic decisions in conjunction with the Country Management team.
• Track store progress using commercial growth review documents and operational checklists.
• Prepare and achieve annual budgets for sales, gross margin, manpower and operating expenses.
• Provide effective leadership, promote a culturally diverse environment and support learning and development plans.
• Deliver high levels of customer engagement and ensure operational excellence and safety standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration or Commerce.
• 7‑10 years of high‑volume or multi‑unit retail management experience.
• Strategic, analytical and tactical abilities with deep knowledge of the local market.
• Genuine interest in home furnishings and customer needs.

Required skills

• Strong networking and relationship‑building skills.
• Computer literacy in MS Office, including Outlook.
