Business Development Lead – Downstream Business UAE

About the role

Drive profitable growth and expand Bureau Veritas' market presence across the UAE downstream value chain. Lead strategic account development in refining, petrochemicals, gas processing and related industrial facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a robust UAE downstream market map, identifying priority accounts, projects and tender pipelines.
• Develop account penetration strategies, annual growth plans and monitor industry trends and competitor positioning.
• Own relationships with senior executives, procurement teams, EPC contractors and consultants, leading regular strategic reviews.
• Qualify leads, coordinate technical, legal and financial inputs for competitive proposals, and lead bid strategy, pricing and negotiation.
• Deliver order intake, revenue, margin and new‑client targets while providing accurate pipeline and forecast updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, energy management or related field; postgraduate commercial qualification is a plus.
• 7‑10 years of experience in downstream oil & gas, petrochemicals or industrial services with a proven record of complex B2B sales in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of downstream assets, operating models, project lifecycles and client procurement processes.
