Business Development Manager

About the role

upGrad Enterprise is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead new client acquisition and expand its presence in the UAE market. The role focuses on identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities for our education and technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients to meet sales targets.
• Conduct hunting activities through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to win net new logos.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Assess client needs and tailor upGrad Enterprise solutions accordingly.
• Deliver compelling presentations and product demos.
• Lead negotiations and close deals to achieve or exceed quotas.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and support teams for seamless delivery.
• Provide regular reports on pipeline status and sales performance.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in business development or sales.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE; relocation candidates will not be considered.
• Valid driving license is mandatory.
• Arabic language proficiency is a preferred advantage.
