Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead sales growth for a state‑of‑the‑art joinery and bespoke furniture manufacturing facility in Jebel Ali, Dubai. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and expanding our presence in the joinery, interior fit‑out, and furniture sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Identify and generate new opportunities within joinery, fit‑out, interior design, and furniture markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with interior designers, consultants, contractors, developers, and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare and present company capabilities, product offerings, and commercial proposals.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, tenders, and lead them through to successful closure.
• Negotiate commercial terms while safeguarding profitability.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide regular performance reports.
• Coordinate with estimation, design, production, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of secured projects.
• Develop long‑term client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 4–5 years of business development or sales experience within a custom joinery factory.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong existing clientele and professional network in the joinery/interior fit‑out sector.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory).
