Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for a leading supplier of premium wood, veneer and decorative surface solutions, focusing on architecture, interior design, fit‑out and furniture manufacturing sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across architects, interior designers, consultants, joinery companies, contractors and furniture manufacturers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers to drive project specifications and sales growth.
• Promote premium wood and veneer products by providing technical guidance, product presentations and solution‑based recommendations.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, project tracking, quotations, negotiations, contract closure and account management.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities to develop effective business development strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• 5–8 years of business development or project sales experience within wood, veneer, joinery, interiors, furniture, fit‑out or building materials industries.
• Strong network of architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders within the UAE/GCC market.

Required skills

• Excellent relationship management and networking abilities.
• Proven ability to guide technical product discussions and deliver solution‑based recommendations.
