Director, Commercial – UAE

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior commercial leader to drive the commercialization of new products across new and existing customers in the UAE. The role focuses on delivering sales and revenue targets while shaping strategic account plans and product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver sales and net‑revenue targets for Mastercard products and services across the UAE market.
• Develop and manage sales programmes in collaboration with account, solution and product teams, providing executive‑level updates.
• Identify customer opportunities, create bespoke sales plans and remove obstacles to achieve operational outcomes.
• Negotiate and manage customer agreements, coordinating resources across global and cross‑functional teams.
• Guide product development by defining relevant features and benefits with internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Self‑driven, organized and proactive with strong execution focus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong commercial judgement.
• Proven experience delivering fast sales outcomes across large and small financial institutions.
• Solid payments industry background, preferably in both business development and product management within an issuer environment.

Required skills

• Strong influencing, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Deep knowledge of card economics and retail electronic payments.
