Business Development Manager - Lead Generation (Curtains & Window Blinds)

About the role

A client in Sharjah is looking for a Business Development Manager focused on lead generation for curtains, window blinds and window treatment solutions. The role identifies new business opportunities, generates qualified leads and builds a strong sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new leads through online research, cold calling, email campaigns, social media, networking and field visits, and build a database of interior designers, architects, contractors, developers, hotels and residential clients.
• Develop strategies to expand the customer base, arrange client meetings, product presentations and site visits, and explore residential, commercial, hospitality, retail and real estate projects.
• Qualify leads by project requirements, budget, timeline and purchasing potential, coordinate quotations, measurements and follow-ups with the sales team, and hand qualified leads over promptly.
• Research market trends, customer preferences, upcoming projects and competitor activity, and maintain an updated database of potential clients and ongoing projects.
• Maintain lead records, follow-up schedules and lead status in the CRM or company database, and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on leads, meetings and pipeline.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in business development, lead generation or B2B sales.
• Experience in curtains, window blinds, interior design, fit-out, home furnishings or building materials is an advantage.
