Business Development Manager – New Sales (UAE)

About the role

Ventures ONSITE, a subscription‑based platform from Ventures Middle East, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new sales of its MEA Construction Projects Database. Based in Dubai, the role focuses on selling detailed construction project information to companies in the construction and infrastructure sectors across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the market presence of Ventures ONSITE.
• Develop and implement strategies targeting potential clients and partners in the construction industry.
• Conduct market research to spot industry trends, competitor activities and growth areas.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development and customer service to support business development efforts.
• Track, report and analyse sales performance, market trends and provide regular updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within construction or infrastructure.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities with a proven record of achieving sales targets.
• Deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape and client needs in the construction sector.
• Proactive, analytical and able to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Familiarity with project management and industry‑specific software.
