Business Development Manager - Travel Insurance

Intelligent Solutions is recruiting on behalf of its client, a leading insurance brokerage, for a Business Development Manager in Dubai. The role suits dynamic, customer-focused people who enjoy sales and client engagement, offering exposure to both individual and corporate clients and the chance to build expertise in travel insurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell travel insurance products to individual and corporate clients across multiple channels
• Understand client travel requirements and recommend suitable coverage options
• Explain policy features, benefits, exclusions and claims processes clearly and accurately
• Process policy applications, renewals, endorsements and cancellations efficiently
• Build strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
• Achieve individual and team sales targets while maintaining high service standards
• Stay up to date on market trends, competitor offerings and regulatory updates
• Handle client inquiries and basic claims coordination professionally and promptly
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems

Required profile

• 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in insurance, travel or a related industry
• High school diploma or equivalent; insurance or sales certification is an advantage
• Strong understanding of travel insurance products and coverage structures is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage client relationships
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-driven

• Proficiency in using CRM systems and standard computer applications
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
