Business Development & Operations Manager

About the role

The Business Development & Operations Manager will lead growth initiatives for Braxtone Group, driving new business generation, client retention and market expansion across the UAE/GCC insurance landscape. This role combines strategic partnership development with operational oversight of claims and loss‑adjusting services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, reinsurers, brokers and corporate clients.
• Generate new business opportunities and manage the sales pipeline.
• Oversee claims handling and loss‑adjusting processes to ensure service standards and turnaround times.
• Lead commercial negotiations, prepare proposals and present fee structures.
• Translate technical loss‑adjusting expertise into commercial value for clients.
• Monitor portfolio performance and drive client retention strategies.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in insurance, loss adjusting, claims handling, underwriting or broking.
• Proven track record of business generation and market expansion.
• Strong understanding of claims processes, policy wordings, exclusions and adjuster services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Engineering or Law.
• Professional insurance qualifications (e.g., CII, ACII, FOR, ANZIIF) preferred.
