Business Development Representative

About the role

Epicor is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive new revenue opportunities through a mix of cold outreach and warm lead follow‑up. You will engage mid‑size to large enterprises, targeting C‑level decision makers, and support the sales team by delivering qualified prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to generate net new leads.
• Respond to warm leads generated from marketing campaigns and qualify them for the sales pipeline.
• Research target accounts and prepare prospecting materials before handoff to Territory Managers.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly metrics such as calls scheduled, calls completed, qualified opportunities and deals.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in the company’s CRM system.
• Continuously learn Epicor’s applications, value proposition and differentiation to improve conversations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in business management or marketing.
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, call‑center, inside sales or a related industry (manufacturing, distribution, retail, lumber, auto).
• Demonstrated ability to meet quota goals and a track record of lead qualification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence.

Required skills

• CRM (customer relationship management) software proficiency.
