Business & Economics Teacher (Start August 2026)

About the role

We are looking for a Business and Economics Teacher to join GEMS Founders School – Dubai South for the academic year starting August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the British curriculum, support student progress and contribute to the school’s outstanding reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Business and Economics lessons in line with the British curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and senior leadership to support student wellbeing and academic growth.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Hold a BEd or Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics, or a PGCE with QTS.
• Demonstrated ability to implement exemplary teaching practices.
• Creative and enthusiastic approach to classroom and extracurricular activities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, parents and staff.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Business and Economics subject matter.
• Effective classroom management and instructional techniques.
