Business Faculty – Marketing Lecturer

About the role

Provide effective instruction in business and marketing subjects to second-language learners within a student-centric environment, while actively participating in academic and community events.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to HCT’s strategic initiatives, develop policies, and engage in applied research aligned with national innovation priorities.
• Deliver practical, applied teaching in accordance with course syllabi, using educational technology and providing continuous feedback through assessments.
• Assess student performance, maintain grade records, and support at-risk students through advising and mentorship.
• Conduct applied research, present at conferences, and serve on faculty, program, and system-wide committees.
• Maintain teaching facilities, prepare electronic course assessment files, manage course content, and participate in curriculum revision and quality assurance.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, support recruitment of UAE nationals, and promote organizational resilience practices.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, or a Master’s degree with professional certification and at least 5 years of teaching and industry experience; a Bachelor’s degree with extensive industry experience may also be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience (preferred).
• Experience in curriculum development, accreditation standards, and incorporation of educational technology into instruction.
• Commitment to cultural sensitivity, academic integrity, and student‑centered learning.
